Bionematicides are biopesticides utilized for treating  nematode infestation of crops. Nematodes are pests that are known to attack the roots of all kinds of crops, including vegetables and fruits. Bionematicides are utilized to eradicate nematodes at all stages of their lifecycle. Application control programs work best when they start at the pre-plantation stage. Bionematicides are utilized in both powder and liquid form. LAM International prime strain utilized in its bionematicides is Purpureocillium lilacinum (AKA Paecilomyces lilacinus). A new product based on Pochonia chlamydosporia is being currently developed by LAM International.
